The main objective of the conversion of the gas holders in Vienna was to preserve the historical heritage of these unique structures while adapting them to the modern needs of the urban environment. The project aimed to create a mixed-use complex that could include residential, office, cultural and retail spaces, thus ensuring the efficient and appropriate use of these historic structures. Thus, the transformation of the gas holders was aimed to revitalize them and to give new life to these buildings, enriching the urban space and meeting the needs of modern society for a variety of functions and services.
